IHOP Helps Raise Awareness for CODA

Our IHOP in Terre Haute, IN (IHOP 5408- 2901 S Third Street, Terre Haute, IN 47802) partnered with CODA (Council on Domestic Abuse) to give away free coffee, hot chocolate, pancakes, and fruit during Indiana State University’s homecoming parade and “The Walk.” The Walk is an ISU tradition where students “celebrate” while they walk to the stadium for homecoming.

This is the 2nd year in a row that IHOP has partnered with CODA on raising awareness concerning the services they offer (http://www.codaterrehaute.org/services.html). The mission of CODA is the elimination of domestic violence and sexual assault through societal change and the empowerment of abused individuals and their minor children. CODA uses this event to educate young adults that there is a local outlet for them, if they are subject to any kind of abuse.

October is National Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
